Avaya IP Agent
Avaya™ IP Agent (formerly
CenterVu® IP Agent) is specifically designed
to accommodate call centre agents working remotely or in an office
location, addressing the rapidly growing remote call centre market.
Avaya IP Agent is a Microsoft® Windows® software-based call centre soft
phone application that runs on a personal computer loaded with Windows
98, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows NT® 4.0 software. It enables
agents to work from any PC, anywhere, as long as they can connect to
your corporate network. Agents have access to the full range of Avaya
agent capabilities using a graphical user interface that works via
standard drag and drop conventions.
IP Agent includes an intuitive interface to access existing corporate
database information via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP),
and an integrated call history feature that allows agents a detailed
view of calls made and received. In addition, contact centre managers
can administer screen pops based on commonly used triggers, such as
dialed number identification service (DNIS), automated number
identification (ANI) and prompted digits.
As part of Avaya's full suite of IP Contact centre devices and
applications, IP Agent integrates seamlessly with Avaya Customer Care
Solutions and Avaya's reliable DEFINITY® Enterprise Communications
Server platform.
