PageScope Box Operator helps you optimise your document workflow. Right from your desktop PC, you can view, download, reprint, rename and delete files stored in each User Box of your bizhub multifunctional device, allowing you to easily manage documents from a central resource. For those devices which have fax enabled, incoming faxes can be forwarded to a User Box and viewed prior to printing therefore eliminating unwanted spam faxes and unnecessary paper use.

As well as the roaming capabilities of the solution, it also provides companies with extensive reporting options including user reports, cost centres, cost codes and printer reports.

More Control over Copying and Printing

FollowMe allows full control of copying* and printing to reduce paper usage and waste. Users can also be restricted to certain paper sizes, usage times or black and white/colour settings. The network can be set up to require PIN access which can be controlled using proximity, magnetic or smart cards; or by biometric identification.

Print Flexibility

Print jobs can be collected from any location on the network and through printer “roaming”, jobs can be pulled via LAN, WAN or online through authentication. In addition, should a printer be out of service for any reason, authentication can be used to simply collect the job from another printer. FollowMe provides unrivalled convenience for users.

For example, should a machine have a print queue of 10 jobs, a person can go to the nearest alternative machine, authenticate via swipe card and print the job from there, thus reducing waiting times. For example, were a user to be based in one office location but had a next day meeting at a different office, the user could print all jobs from their desktop, but in-fact authenticate and collect the printed documents from a machine in the other company office upon arrival. This highlights the document security aspects of the solution and eliminates any possibility of sensitive documents going missing in transit.
