Overview


The INDeX Integrated Messaging System module is an additional INDeX Voice Manager module that is designed to present voice messages to Microsoft Outlook on a client PC.

INDeX Integrated Messaging System is part of the INDeX Voice Manager (IVM) suite of modules. Designed for businesses of all sizes, INDeX Voice Manager's comprehensive range of features make it the perfect choice for all organisations, irrespective of industry sector, organisational structure or customer base.
 


Positioning

Most 3rd party voice processing solution suppliers will provide the same functionality offered by the INDeX Voice Manager and the INDeX Integrated Messaging System. However, none will have the high level of integration that exists between the INDeX, the INDeX Voice Manager and INDeX Call Centre Modules.

• IMS provides a visual record of your emails and vmails in your
  existing Outlook inbox.

• Messages can be answered in any order

• If CLI is available, it will be displayed. If the call is internal and the
  name is contained within the INDeX it will be displayed. If not
  available then the extension number will be displayed instead.

• vmails can be played back over the PC speaker or 20 series
  handset.

• If you wish to log on remotely and view your Outlook client, you
  only need to divert your 20 series handset to your home/mobile
  phone to listen to your vmails.

• If a message has been left from an external call, then the
  message will be displayed with the CLI if available.

• If a message has been left from an internal call then the caller's
  name, if available from within INDeX, will be displayed. If the
  name is not available then the extension will be displayed.
