HiPath Xpressions Compac - Messaging Solution

HiPath Xpressions Compact is an integrated application offering an "automatic answering" function as well as "voice mail" services. HiPath Xpressions provides every employee with their own multimedia mailbox which holds all messages – voicemail, fax, e-mail or SMS – for easy on-screen or telephone management. You can retrieve your messages from any location using a laptop, mobile or landline telephone. An e-mail can be read out on the telephone, a fax can be displayed on the PC or printed at the nearest fax machine and so on. Then you can decide which medium to use for your reply. With HiPath Xpressions you may never miss an important message again.

 

1. Hipath Xpressions Compact as telephone answering system

If your own set is busy or overloaded calls are answered automatically by a telephone answering system. The calling party will first receive a message asking to wait and will then be forwarded to a station (group) that you have selected.

Xpressions Compact allows to swiftly answer all incoming calls. Your customers do not need to wait any longer and calls will no be lost any longer. Do not forget that the way calls are handled provides your customers with a first impression of your company.

According to your wishes, you can program the Xpressions Compact answering application in two ways: either to answer only calls when the operator station is busy by playing a welcome message until the operator station is idle again, or to answer all calls by playing a welcome message and enabling the calling party to be forwarded to the person or department wanted by means of a voice menu and the keypad. It is possible to set up an extensive and personalized tree structure for this purpose.


2. Hipath Xpressions Compact as voice mail

A voice mail system allows your co-workers to benefit from the advantages of an individual telephone answering machine. The Xpressions compact provides every employee with a personal voice mailbox, offering a complete and centralised solution that makes all employees available round the clock, irrespective of the correspondent’s time zone. The Xpressions compact application allows you to handle several calls simultaneously and is equipped for intensive and professional use.

Users can remotely listen to their messages in a very confidential way thanks to a secret personal code. It is also possible to see exactly when the message was left in the voice mailbox.

When you are in the office and you have an Optipoint set, you will automatically be notified of a waiting message by a blinking led or a message on your display.

Another important voicemail related element: its convenient operation. The voicemail boxes can easily be managed from the user’s telephone set by means of “voice prompts” and the telephone keypad.


3. HiPath Xpressions Compact has several lines

You may receive calls from several customers at the same time. Xpressions Compact can standard handle 8 calls simultaneously. As for larger configurations (HiPath 37xx), there is a version that can handle up to 24 calls simultaneously.


4. Hipath Xpressions Compact is also equipped with the “Fax recognition” function

When a fax enters the voice mailbox, it will automatically be forwarded to a fax machine. All participants have their own fax destinations. It is also possible to set a general fax destination, allowing to handle both calls and fax messages at one and the same number.


5. Hipath Xpressions Compact offers a lot of flexibility

While listening to the welcome message, customers can directly dial a number to be forwarded to another station (group), according to their wishes. An example of such message: “For the sales department, press 1. For the technical department, press 2. For the accounting department, press 3, ...”. This feature allows you to handle your customers’ calls even more rapidly. The number of tree structure levels is not restricted and it is even possible to work according to timetables. Every day of the week can be divided into 4 different time zones. Also, a separate table is provided for holidays and vacations, creating more flexibility to play different welcome messages at different points in time (max. 4 different messages). According to the type of call (internal/external calls), it is also possible to play different messages.


6. Hipath Xpressions Compact and your Hipath 3000

Xpressions Compact is completely integrated in your HiPath 3000, allowing for both local administration via the Manager C, and remote administration through the built-in modem or the HiPath 3000 LAN connection.
