Wireless

incovo provides a number of wireless LAN solutions for both indoor and outdoor situations.

The indoor solution is based on Cisco access points 1140 and 1250, which can be deployed internally throughout your estate. The Cisco Aironet Outdoor Bridges are intended to connect two or more remote networks into a single LAN and can be used to provide building-to-building wireless connectivity.

Indoor Wireless
incovo offers indoor wireless solutions based on the Cisco Aironet 1140 and 1250 Series Access Points. They are components of the Cisco Unified Wireless Network solution and are interoperable with any 802.11n draft 2.0, 802.11a, 802.11b, or 802.11g wi-fi-certified clients. Each type of access point can be configured to work autonomously, or to work with a wireless LAN controller which offers control configuration and management of a number of access points deployed within a site.

Outdoor Wireless
incovo offers two platforms of wireless bridges – the Cisco Aironet 1400 Series and the Cisco Aironet 1300 Series. The 1300 can support wireless clients while the 1400 is only intended as a bridge. The range capability of each product depends on factors such as desired bandwidth, line of sight, antenna type, antenna cable length, and the device that receives the transmission. In an optimal installation, the range can be up to 25 miles.
