Just change the cards and upgrade the software and you have the level of performance you need. With this flexibility, you can protect your investment by using high-performance, 2.4 Ghz radio cards now, and plan for even better performance when you're ready to upgrade with 5 Ghz radio technology.

The Wireless AP-3 not only delivers great performance but also provides you with security capabilities to help ensure the confidentiality of your wireless transmissions. With the AP-3 and the Avaya Wireless "Good, Better, Best" security system, you can choose from Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), all the way to Virtual Private Network (VPN) over wireless, to meet your security requirements.

The integrated network management capability of the Wireless AP-3 makes it especially easy to embed the AP-3 into your large or medium enterprise and manage it as part of your overall network.

The AP-3 architecture can also support a wireless-to-wireless bridging option for large open areas, like warehouses and retail stores. With this feature, you can expand your network without adding to the wired backbone.
